22 November 2024 – The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development OECD recently published a new report entitled “Assessing potential future artificial intelligence risks, benefits and policy imperatives”. This comprehensive analysis helps stakeholders understand AI’s evolving role. It also looks at the required frameworks for its responsible development, highlighting the need for global cooperation in harnessing AI’s benefits while addressing its challenges.
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) will present at the forthcoming Internet Governance Forum IGF, in Riyadh, KSA, a preliminary report on the Malicious Use of AI and Emerging Technologies by Terrorist and Criminal Groups, prepared by its Centre for Global Studies (CGS), and developed in cooperation with the UN Security Council’s Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED) and the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT).
